TABQ or Tetraamino-Benzochinon is a material composed of NH₂ and O that can absorb protons particularly well and could therefore be used as an anode in proton batteries. This enables good fast-charging capability, long service life, and temperature resistance and because the materials are organic, such a battery would be environmentally friendly and non-flammable.
